Follow these steps to delete audio or video recordings in CaptureGenius:
1. Select the Client
You can start by selecting the client whose recording you want to delete.
2. Select the Event Date
You can choose the specific event date associated with the recording.
3. Access the Transcript
Click on the transcript related to the recording.
4. Open the Options Menu
In the upper-right corner, click on the three dots (โฎ) to open the options menu.
5. Choose Delete Option
From the options provided, select Delete. You will have the following choices:
Delete Audio/Video Only:
This option removes only the audio and video files from your view, but the transcripts will remain accessible.Delete Audio/Video and Transcript:
This option removes the audio, video, and corresponding transcript files from your view.Delete All Data:
This will permanently delete all associated data, including audio, video, transcripts, AI summaries, and draft emails.
Important Notes:
Transcript Deletion: If you delete the transcript, you won't be able to generate new AI summaries for this recording.
Legal Storage Compliance: If legal storage is enabled, the recording and transcript will still be retained per compliance/regulatory requirements, even if deleted from your view.
