You can now create single or bulk CRM tasks directly from transcripts or manually from the contact dashboard. This helps you quickly capture action items from meetings without missing important details.
Below is a step-by-step guide:
1. Creating Tasks from the Transcript Area (CaptureGenius Tab)
Go to the CaptureGenius tab.
Locate the client and the event date.
If a transcript is available, click View Transcript.
Inside the AI Summary:
Click “Create Task” and manually type the subject and description.
OR highlight action items (one by one, or multiple at once) → click “Create Task” → bulk tasks will be created.
Reviewing Tasks:
Reminder: You must select an advisor or the system will not let you save the task.
2. Creating Tasks from the Contact Dashboard
Search for the client and open their Contact Dashboard.
Click on the Tasks tab.
3. To create a new task manually:
Click Create Task.
Enter the details (Subject, Description, Start Date, Due Date, Category, Priority, Assigned To).
4. Once saved, the new task will appear in the task list table.
3. Editing or Managing Tasks
From the Tasks tab table:
Click the pencil icon (✏️) to open options:
Edit – update task details.
Go to Source – view the original transcript or source.
Mark Complete – close out the task.
Delete – remove the task if it is no longer needed.
You can also click directly on the Note Text to open the edit modal and change all task details (subject, description, dates, category, priority, assigned to).
