AI Targeting helps you quickly identify the right clients and launch personalized outreach campaigns—pulling data from systems like Nitrogen, Holistiplan, and Redtail.
What is AI Targeting?
AI Targeting allows you to:
Describe the type of clients you want to reach
Automatically generate a list of matching contacts
Create and send personalized email campaigns at scale
Think of it as a smarter, faster way to build targeted marketing campaigns—without manually filtering contacts.
Selecting Clients for Outreach
There are two ways to choose which clients to include in your campaign:
Option 1: Use AI Targeting (Recommended)
Use AI to quickly generate a list of relevant clients.
How it works:
Enter a description of the clients you want (e.g., “Anxious clients with risk above 70”)
Click Find Clients
Review the generated list
Click Create Campaign
Best for:
Targeted campaigns
Segmenting clients based on behavior, risk, or financial data
Saving time vs. manual filtering
Option 2: Pick Contacts Manually
Prefer full control? You can manually select contacts.
How it works:
Click Pick Contacts
Browse or search your contact list
Use the checkboxes to select as many clients as you want
Confirm your selection to start your campaign
Best for:
Hand-picking specific clients
Small or highly curated campaigns
When you already know exactly who to contact
2. Review & Create Campaign
Once results are generated:
Review matched clients
See why each client was selected (e.g., risk score, sentiment)
Click Create Campaign
3. Select a Template (or Start Blank)
Choose how you want to start:
Pre-built templates (e.g., Outreach 1, 2, 3, Annual Review)
Or start from a blank template
Templates include SmartFields that personalize each email automatically.
4. Personalize with SmartFields
SmartFields automatically pull data from:
Nitrogen (e.g., Risk Score)
Holistiplan (e.g., Tax data)
CRM (e.g., Name, Account info)
What happens next:
If all required data is available → status = ✅ Ready
If data is missing → status = ⚠️ Review or 📝 Draft
You can:
Navigate through contacts
Fix missing fields
Remove contacts if needed
5. Adding Attachments
You can include attachments in your campaign in two ways:
1. Campaign-Wide Attachments
Add files under Universal Attachments
These files will be sent to every recipient in the campaign
Best for:
General documents (e.g., newsletters, reports, brochures)
Content that applies to all clients
2. Recipient-Specific Attachments
Add files under Attachments for [Client Name]
These files are sent only to that specific recipient
Best for:
Personalized documents (e.g., individual reports, statements)
Client-specific materials
6. Review Email Status
Each recipient will have a status:
Draft → Still being edited
Review → Missing data or needs attention
Ready → Approved and ready to send
Only Ready emails will be sent.
7. Send Your Campaign
Once your campaign is ready, choose how to send:
Send All Now
Immediately sends all Ready emails
Schedule for Later
Pick a date and time for delivery
Send in Waves
Split recipients into batches (e.g., 50 clients → 2 waves of 25)
Choose delay between waves (e.g., 1–2 days)
Great for controlled outreach
