New & Improved SmartFields Auto-Fill

We’ve updated the way SmartFields are filled from Redtail, Wealthbox, and Holistiplan to make the process faster and more intuitive.


What’s Changed?

Before:
You had to select a contact for each individual SmartField.

Now:
You select the client once — and the system pulls the data across all SmartFields automatically.


How It Works


Step 1: Add Contacts

When you click Fill SmartFields, you’ll begin by selecting the primary contact.

If the document requires multiple people (for example, a spouse), click:

+ Add Another Contact to Pull Data for

This allows you to pull data for both individuals in the same document.


Step 2: Match Contacts Across Sources

Next, you’ll match each contact to their corresponding record in:

  • Wealthbox

  • Redtail

  • Holistiplan

You’ll see a side-by-side view of:

  • Contact 1

  • Contact 2

  • Each connected data source

If needed, you can:

  • Search for a different contact

  • Change the match

  • Mark a source as Not Required


Step 3: Select Contact for Specific Fields (When Needed)

If a SmartField exists for more than one contact (for example, Signed Fee Agreement Date), you’ll be prompted to choose which person the field should pull from.

Simply select the correct contact, and the field will auto-fill.
