How: Step-by-step directions on how to connect Redtail Email with Pulse360
1. Create an Application Passcode: If you have MFA authentication, you must create an Application Passcode with Redtail before connecting your email. This passcode will be used as your password for email authentication with Pulse360.
Only if you have MFA authentication: you need to create an application password. You can set it up using this link: https://webmail.redtailtechnology.com and follow these instructions.
2. Navigate to "Settings" > "Email Settings" and press "Connect your email."
3. Among different email providers, select "View all providers" > "Select IMAP."
4. Your email username will be your full email address. Your email password will be your password with Redtail or the application password you've created in the first step if you have MFA authentication.
5. Fill in the setting fields:
Incoming Email:
IMAP Server: imap.redtailtechnology.com
IMAP Ports: 993 (SSL)
POP Server: pop.redtailtechnology.com
POP Ports: 995 (SSL)
Outgoing Email:
SMTP Server: smtp.redtailtechnology.com
SMTP Ports: 465 (SSL)
6. Press "Login."
7. Click "Send Test Message" to send a test message to ensure that your email has been successfully connected.
An email will be sent to the linked address. Verify it by checking your inbox and your sent folder.
Tips
All emails you send from Pulse360 will be in your email sent folder.
