How to Use Rephrase AI

Updated over 3 months ago

Rephrase AI can be used in different areas such as Capture Genius (AI Summary and Draft Email), Meeting Workspace (notes, finalize & share, in-meeting), Quick Capture Note, and Templates (editing blocks).

How to Use Rephrase AI

1. Select Text or Leave It Unselected
To rephrase only part of your text, highlight the section you want to change. If you don’t select any text, Rephrase AI will automatically rewrite the entire passage.

2. Choose an Action
Click the Sparkle Icon (Rephrase) button, then select one of the options (e.g., Summarize, Add More Details).

3. Pick a Tone (Optional)
Choose a tone that fits the context of your message, such as Business Casual.

Original Note: I recommend you convert $50K from IRA to Roth.

4. Undo Changes While Editing

  • If you need to reverse changes, press Ctrl + Z (Command + Z on Mac) to undo edits.

Note: Undo only works before you save changes. Once saved, undo is not available.

Rephrase Options Explained

Here’s what each Rephrase AI option does:

  • Make It Short
Simplify and condense text into concise bullet points.

  • Add More Details
Expand text with extra explanations or examples. Hint: You can give it direction on what you want to expand the text with. For example, "Explain 529."

Create a past-focused summary to recap discussions or events.

  • Upcoming Discussion
Turn content into a future-focused agenda item for planning or meetings.
