Loop in Spouses, CPAs, and Attorneys Without Looking Up Their Email

Every time you send a client email, you probably copy the same people — their spouse, their CPA, their attorney. Hunting for those email addresses on every send slows you down and it's easy to forget someone. Now Pulse360 pulls them in for you, based on the relationships you've already set on the contact.

Set the Include Preferences on a Relationship

Open any contact and go to the Relationships tab. For each related person, you can mark Include in all communications — that's the signal that tells Pulse360 to add them to every email for this client.

You can also keep Do not email on a relationship you want Pulse360 to skip entirely.

Spouses Auto-Fill in To, Everyone Else in Cc

The next time you send an email for that client, Pulse360 pre-fills the recipients based on the relationship type:

  • Spouse and Partner go into the To field alongside the primary client.

  • Every other relationship type — Child, Parent, CPA / Tax Professional, Attorney, Trustee, and so on — goes into the Cc field.

  • The Cc / Bcc section expands automatically when someone lands in Cc.

  • Anyone marked Do not email, or whose record has no email address, is skipped silently — they won't show up in the email.

Add More from Relationships on the Fly

If you need to loop someone in just for this email — or you want to see everyone connected to this client at a glance — click Add from relationships above the To field.

The picker shows every relationship for the client, with their current placement pre-selected:

  • If they're already in the email (because you flagged them or added them earlier), their current column — To, Cc, or Bcc — is marked.

  • If they're not in the email yet, None is marked.

  • Relationships without an email address are disabled so you can't accidentally break the send.

Move, Add, or Remove in One Click

Pick the column you want each person in — or choose None to take them off this email. When you hit Add Recipients, Pulse360 applies all your changes at once: it adds new picks, moves anyone who switched columns, and removes anyone you switched to None. Your manually typed email addresses stay untouched.

Remember Your Selections for Next Time

Check Always include selected for future emails before you click Add Recipients. Pulse360 will set the Include in all communications flag on every picked relationship so they auto-fill the next time too. You never have to visit the Relationships tab to turn the flag on — the picker does it for you in the send flow.

Add a Brand-New Relationship Right from the Picker

Forgot to add someone to a client's relationships? Use the Add someone new form at the bottom of the picker. Search for the contact, choose a relationship type, and click the + button. Pulse360 creates the relationship on the spot and adds them to the table — with Include in all communications already turned on so they show up automatically on every future send.

Why It Matters

  • Fewer missed CCs — the spouse, CPA, and attorney you mean to include are always in the email, not left off because you rushed.

  • No more email hunting — Pulse360 knows the right addresses from the relationship record, so you don't have to dig through your CRM mid-send.

  • Smart defaults, not rigid rules — the picker lets you move someone to a different column or drop them for this one email without changing the saved preference.

  • Set it once, benefit forever — mark "Always include" on a picker row and Pulse360 remembers for every future email to that client.
